Janine Mackey-Hart NRP CCP is a Critical Care Paramedic and EMS Educator with 18 years of experience in Emergency Medical Services. She has worked across a wide range of EMS environments, including fire-based services, rural EMS systems, high-volume urban 911 agencies, and interfacility transport (IFT). Janine has completed Community Paramedic training and brings a broad, real-world perspective to both patient care and education.
She has spent several years teaching EMT, AEMT, CPR, ACLS, and PALS courses, working with adult learners as well as high school students. Janine’s educational philosophy emphasizes engagement, interaction, and hands-on learning. She believes that if students are not actively involved and having some fun, simply delivering information is ineffective—comparing it to “throwing marshmallows at someone and calling it feeding them.” Her goal is to create learning environments that are practical, engaging, and directly applicable to real-world EMS practice.
